Job Vacancy: Warehouse Manager

Location: Santry
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: €DOP
Position: Full-time

To manage, organize, and lead the warehouse team in executing daily operations in alignment with company and client needs, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Warehouse Operations: Manage key activities such as shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel, adopting a hands-on approach to support all warehouse functions.
  • Daily Team Meetings: Lead daily team meetings to plan warehouse tasks, ensuring the workload is evenly distributed and completed within deadlines.
  • Liaise with Operations Teams: Coordinate with operations teams via phone and email to confirm and plan the arrival times of all vehicles for loading and unloading.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to all Health & Safety processes and guidelines within the warehouse.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Oversee housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment. Develop and maintain a cleaning rota and log.
  • Staff Training & Evaluation: Participate in the training and evaluation of staff to ensure high standards of customer service.
  • Annual Leave Management: Monitor team annual leave, ensuring adequate coverage is maintained at all times.
  • Supply Chain Integrity: Ensure the integrity of food receipts and dispatches within the supply chain.
  • Airfreight Management: Manage van and driver operations for the Airfreight department, ensuring timely and efficient airfreight collections and dispatches to meet flight schedules.

Requirements:

  • Valid and up-to-date Counterbalance & Reach Forklift and Manual Handling certificates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook (email) and Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience in a management or supervisory role
  • Experience in preparing and shipping food shipments in compliance with FSAI standards
  • Experience in pick and pack operations
  • Knowledge of cold chain logistics and operations
