Warehouse Manager

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as required; assist with hands-on tasks as needed.
• Implement and improve warehouse systems and processes to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure operational goals are met.
• Liaise with other departments, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless operations and communication.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven employment tenure in warehouse operations and/or management roles.
• Valid forklift license with demonstrated experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse software is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
