As the Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, and leading the team during service. You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of dishes, maintaining health and safety standards, and ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation.
• Manage kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and supervision as needed.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen.
• Monitor food stock, manage inventory, and place orders as needed.
• Step in to manage the kitchen during the Head Chef’s absence.
• Contribute to menu planning, bringing creativity and innovation to the kitchen.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end, award-winning restaurant.
• Strong culinary skills with a passion for quality and innovation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest food standards.
• Living in Ireland with the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
