Job description

We are looking for a skilled and qualified Mechanic to join our client in Dublin. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver best-in-class roadside diagnostics and repairs, ensuring a safe and seamless experience for members.
  • Strategically assess and coordinate with the Rescue Centre to provide exceptional service.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on cars, trucks, and other vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake checks, and tire replacements.
  • Inspect vehicle systems, components, and accessories for proper operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed and parts used.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations while working in the workshop.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on vehicle status and repairs.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified and Experienced: QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Motor Mechanics and completed apprenticeship.
  • Practical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
  • Driver’s Licence: B licence essential; BE advantageous.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to excellence.
