We are currently looking for a Cluster Sales Manager to join our client’s team, leading sales efforts for two dynamic hotels. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales-driven professional to strategically grow revenue and market share across both properties.
As the Cluster Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales across all market segments for two hotels You will develop and implement a sales strategy that maximizes revenue, targeting GDS, corporate, national, and international business. Additionally, you will oversee new project launches and identify key revenue streams, particularly across food and beverage outlets, while ensuring your team effectively drives sales and meets objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for both hotels, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market trends.
- Maximize revenue across all market segments, including rooms, food and beverage, and events.
- Identify and target new business opportunities, particularly in the GDS, corporate, and international markets.
- Strategically launch new projects, including promotions and packages, to grow revenue streams, especially within the food and beverage sector.
- Drive revenue for social events, private gatherings, and corporate functions, making full use of the hotel’s meeting and event spaces.
- Oversee and manage all market segments, ensuring the sales team effectively drives business in line with the strategy.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and promotional activities with the marketing plan.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the corporate and local community, attending events and promoting the hotels to drive new business.
- Leverage existing networks to enhance the hotels’ presence in the marketplace.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and ensure a structured approach to sales planning and execution.
- Provide coaching and support to develop team members’ skills and maximize their performance.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of management experience in a high-volume hospitality establishment, ideally within sales and events.
- Proven track record in sales, particularly within the hotel industry.
- Strong customer service skills with an eye for detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Must live in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
- Industry background in hospitality is essential.
