We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join a leading tile and bathroom showroom based in Wexford.

As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service in a high-end tile and bathroom showroom. Your primary focus will be to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide expert advice on the showroom’s wide range of products. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building relationships with customers, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Our client is a well-established tile and bathroom retailer in Wexford, known for offering premium products and exceptional service. With a reputation for quality and a focus on customer satisfaction, they provide a wide selection of tiles, bathroom fittings, and accessories to both retail and trade customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist customers in the showroom, offering expert product knowledge and advice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both retail and trade customers.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products that align with their design preferences and budgets.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by actively promoting and upselling the showroom’s offerings.
  • Stay updated on the latest tile and bathroom trends, as well as product features and benefits.
  • Ensure the showroom is well-presented, clean, and fully stocked at all times.
  • Collaborate with the showroom team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for customers, ensuring all details are correct.
  • Follow up on customer enquiries and quotations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle customer queries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and fostering relationships with trade customers.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and training sessions as required to promote the company’s offerings and stay ahead of market trends.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within the tiles, bathroom, or home improvement sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • A passion for interior design and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in using sales and CRM systems to track leads and manage client interactions.
  • Living in Ireland with the legal right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
