Temporary Chefs needed in Kerry and the surrounding areas

We are looking for chefs of all levels for some varying roles in Kerry and the surrounding areas. If you are looking for a flexible work schedule with diverse posts day to day, then this is the role for you. We can offer full-time or part-time shifts to suit your schedule, whether you are looking for 1-2 days or more per week we have the shift for you! Candidates will have a dedicated consultant to manage their schedule, who will strive to place candidates in roles where they can excel and develop their skills.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • To prepare food in the kitchen while maintaining a high standard of quality and cleanliness.
  • To adhere to all health and safety guidelines while on site.
  • To adhere to any SOPs set out on site.
  • Assist with menu planning to ensure gross profit margin is achieved
  • To ensure the highest standards in stock control, portion control and quality control
  • Provide professional customer service when needed and respect to all other staff within the kitchen/restaurant.

Ideal Candidate

  • 1-2 years proven track record in a professional kitchen or catering kitchen environment
  • All relevant food safety certificates along with manual handling
  • A passion for food and service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
