About the Role:
As Reception Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the front desk (5 in the team), ensuring each guest receives a seamless and welcoming experience. You’ll lead a passionate team, deliver 4-star service standards, and play a key role in staff training, time and attendance management, and performance monitoring. Your leadership will be essential in creating a warm, organised, and guest-focused environment.
️ Key Responsibilities:

Lead the front desk team to deliver an exceptional guest experience, both in person and over the phone

Ensure smooth shift operations and uphold all company standards

Manage reservations and maximise room revenue through up-selling

Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and proactively

Supervise staff scheduling, timekeeping, and performance management

Ensure compliance with all financial procedures, health & safety regulations, and hotel SOPs

Liaise with housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Participate in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives

Previous experience in a reception supervisory or management role within a hotel environment

Proficiency in front office systems and booking platforms (training provided if needed)
