Noel Group are delighted to be recruiting for a Reception Manager for our client in Dublin. Noel Group are currently inviting applicants for a new and exciting opportunity for the position of Reception Manager to join a busy Reception Team. in this role, you will be reporting into the Revenue Manager. You will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day of the reception department, deal with group bookings and have great customer service with their prestigious clientele. If you are a highly organised person with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, this Reception Manager role is for you.

This role will be a fully onsite position – working 5 days over 7. Our client is a well-known Hotel in Dublin 15.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Reception Department and Team
  • To supervise Reception shifts
  • To ensure the standards are being met in Reception team by closely monitoring and training of the Reception Team
  • Having a hands on approach in motivating and leading the Reception team ensure the smooth, efficient and professional running of the Department
  • To work with HR in ensuring Recruitment and Training are carried out to the high standards in the Reception Department
  • Carry out Administrative duties are carried out in the Departments and requests are completed for external companies and internal departments in a professional and speedy manner
  • Ensuring a close working relationship with the Reservations and Sales team
  • Ensuring all customer enquiries at the desk or over the phone are dealt with in a professional and friendly manner
  • Always ensuring adequate cover for the Reception Department particularly in busy check in/check out periods
  • To ensure Mews is updated and correct information is inputted
  • Follow up on daily matters in the Reception Department and communicate information to your team and other Departments
  • Follow up on any incidents during each shift, action taken and any necessary follow up
  • Manage the operation of the Front Desk to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality provided to the guests

Key Requirements:

  • Have experience of working in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Mews/Hotsoft/Opera or other similar client system
  • Friendly and approachable personality
  • Excellent team player
  • Professional phone manner
  • Sales experience would be a distinctive advantage

Salary:

€40,000 – dependant of experience – open for negotiation
