Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to join our Dublin based client. As the Operations Manager you will encourage and develop the team, this role will focus on managing and organising all aspects of the warehouse and transport operation encompassing all tasks from when the order is placed with the sales team to when the orders are delivered to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the business, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high-quality service. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading, managing, and developing a team to ensure operational goals are met.
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple departments or locations.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to operational processes.
  • Managing budgets, resources, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Reporting on key operational metrics, including performance analysis and progress towards strategic goals.
  • Driving initiatives for continuous improvement in quality and productivity.
  • Ensuring effective communication across all teams and departments.
  • Record of logistic excellence.
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 4 – 5 years of proven experience in an operations management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing operational improvements and driving business growth.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and managing operational costs.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, health and safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with industry-specific software.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Third level degree in Supply Chain & Logistics.
  • Full driving licence
