As the Hotel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the hotel, ensuring that all departments work together to provide a seamless experience for guests. You will drive operational excellence, focus on improving customer service, and manage day-to-day hotel operations while supporting the General Manager.
Our client is a well-established hotel in Tuam, recognised for offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere, high standards of service, and excellent facilities. The hotel caters to business and leisure guests, delivering a high-quality experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of all hotel departments, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
- Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Work closely with department heads to ensure operational efficiency and consistent service delivery.
- Monitor financial performance and manage budgets, ensuring cost control across all departments.
- Support the General Manager in delivering strategic goals and ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Lead and motivate staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance performance.
- Handle any guest complaints or operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar management role within the hospitality industry, preferably as an Operations Manager.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Experience managing budgets and financial performance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- Living in Ireland with the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
