Maintenance Technician

Industry: Hospitality (Hotels, Bars, and Restaurants)
Location: Various hospitality venues across Dublin, with travel to venues in Ballsbridge (van provided)

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of multiple hospitality venues, including restaurants, bars, and a boutique hotel. The role involves general maintenance duties across a range of premises to ensure smooth operations and a safe environment for staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance across venues

• Fix basic plumbing issues such as leaks, blocked drains, and faulty fixtures

• Conduct minor electrical repairs (e.g. lights, sockets, switches)

• Perform light carpentry and painting tasks

• Replace or repair damaged furniture and fittings

• Support maintenance of heating and air conditioning systems (HVAC)

• Assist in ensuring fire safety systems are functioning correctly

• Respond to maintenance requests from venue management in a timely manner

• Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance

• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials required for daily tasks

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a general maintenance or facilities role

• Basic skills in plumbing, electrics, carpentry, and general repair work

• Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple venues

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours or emergency work

• Full, clean Irish (or EU) driving licence – van provided for travel between venues
