Our client is a prestigious 4-star hotel known for its luxurious accommodations, exceptional service, and top-notch amenities. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Leisure Centre Manager to oversee and elevate the guest experience in the leisure centre.

As the Leisure Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation and management of the hotel’s leisure facilities. This includes ensuring the highest standards of service, maintaining safety protocols, managing staff, and creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. Your leadership and expertise will contribute to our goal of delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the leisure centre, including the swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, and wellness programs.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of leisure staff, ensuring they provide excellent service and uphold the hotel’s standards.
  • Ensure all guests have a positive experience by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
  • Ensure that all leisure facilities meet health and safety regulations, including regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.
  • Manage the leisure centre’s budget, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
  • Work with the hotel’s marketing team to promote the leisure centre and its offerings through various channels, including social media and local advertising.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee the ordering and inventory of supplies and equipment needed for the leisure centre’s operations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on leisure centre performance, including guest feedback, financial results, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing a leisure centre, fitness club, or similar facility, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to leisure facilities.
  • Budget management experience and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the hotel and its guests.
  • Relevant qualifications in leisure management, sports science, or a related field are an advantage.
