Leisure Club Manager – Mullingar
Location: Mullingar, Co. Westmeath
Salary: 40k to 50k (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a passionate and driven Leisure Club Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established hotel with a strong focus on guest experience, wellness, and team development.
The Leisure Club Manager will be responsible for the overall management and strategic development of the hotel’s leisure centre facilities. This includes overseeing fitness operations, swimming pool areas, wellness services, and a team of instructors and lifeguards to ensure exceptional service delivery to members and hotel guests.
Our client is a highly regarded 4-star hotel in Mullingar, renowned for its warm hospitality, extensive leisure facilities, and commitment to wellness. The property caters to both local leisure club members and hotel guests, offering a modern fitness centre, swimming pool, spa, and wellness amenities.
The Duties:

Manage day-to-day operations of the leisure club, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service.

Lead, train, and motivate the leisure team, including fitness instructors and lifeguards.

Ensure compliance with health & safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Oversee scheduling of classes, swim lessons, and personal training sessions.

Handle membership sales, renewals, and customer relationship management.

Maintain accurate records including maintenance logs, pool chemical checks, and team rosters.

Liaise with hotel management to align the club’s offerings with guest expectations and brand standards.

Manage budgets, costs, and revenue targets for the leisure department.
The Requirements:

Previous experience in managing a leisure or fitness facility (ideally within a hotel or health club).

Swim Teacher Certificate – essential.

Lifeguard Certificate – essential.

Fitness Instructor qualification – essential.

Proven leadership and team management skills.

Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Knowledge of health & safety regulations, particularly in aquatic environments.

Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
