Kitchen Porter – Monday to Friday | 7:00am – 4:30pm | Cork
Salary: €28,000 per annum

The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the catering industry to search for a Kitchen Porter to join their team in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking, reliable individual looking for stability and a supportive working environment.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. You will support the culinary team by ensuring all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment are clean and ready for service. This position is vital in maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

The Duties:

  • Ensure all kitchen and service areas are kept clean and sanitary.

  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using both manual and machine methods.

  • Assist chefs with basic food prep as required.

  • Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with hygiene regulations.

  • Maintain cleanliness of floors and surfaces throughout the kitchen.

  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.

The Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar kitchen or cleaning role is desirable but not essential.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

  • Good communication and organisational skills.

  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

  • Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.

  • Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
