Here at The Noel Group we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Human Resources Manager to join our Client team in Dublin 4. The Hotel Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources in a fast-paced and diverse hotel environment. This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices and a dedication to promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
  • Oversee employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all staff
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Handle disciplinary and grievance procedures in collaboration with management
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the hotel workforce
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to foster open communication and resolve issues
  • Provide guidance and support to departmental managers on HR-related matters

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Proven work experience as an HR Manager, preferably in a hospitality setting
  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles and best practices
  • Strong understanding of labor legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels
  • In-depth knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office applications

Day-to-day

  • Interviewing potential candidates for various positions within the hotel
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Conducting training sessions for employees on diversity and inclusion
  • Addressing employee relations issues and providing guidance to managers
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Monitoring employee performance and conducting performance evaluations
  • Engaging in ongoing communication with employees to address their needs and concerns
