The Noel Group are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Assistant to join our Client team at one of our leading Client in Kilkenny. The ideal Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas
  • Change linens and towels, replenish amenities, and ensure a tidy and welcoming environment
  • Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed
  • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and sanitation

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of safe and proper cleaning techniques
  • Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies

Day-to-day

  • Greeting and assisting guests with any inquiries or requests
  • Collaborating with other housekeeping staff to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Following cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards
  • Communicating any maintenance or supply needs to the appropriate supervisor
