Here at The Noel Group we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel.
The ideal Hotel Manager will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record in managing a team and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The Hotel is a multi-award-winning wedding venue, capturing hearts and creating magical memories for couples over the past two decades.
Nestled on the banks of the River Shannon in the picturesque town of Carrick-on- Shannon, the hotel offers 51 bedrooms including Signature Twins & Doubles, Luxury Twins, Family Rooms, Superior Doubles & Suites. Single and Triple occupancy can also be catered for.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk management, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise guest satisfaction and ensure high standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of staff, ensuring they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, and implement cost-control measures to ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive revenue and increase occupancy rates.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local community partners.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of hotel operations and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to make data-driven decisions to drive profitability.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Day-to-day

  • Coordinating with department heads to ensure smooth operation.
  • Support and supervise staff to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Handling guest feedback and resolving any issues effectively.
  • Monitoring financial performance and making necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborating with the sales and marketing team to promote the hotel and increase revenue.
