Goods Inwards attendant

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Backstores/Goods Inwards Attendant to join our clients team in Glanmire and ensure efficient handling and storage of goods! Ideal candidate would have to ensure that all products received by the store are adequately controlled. Maintain the stock room, monitor returns, and ensure HACCP and safety standards are followed.

Responsibilities:

• Check and record goods inwards against delivery docket received
• Properly label, tag, and store goods in designated locations
• Submit all invoice/delivery documentation to the relevant person on a daily basis
• Deal with all transactions with customers and suppliers in a professional manner
• Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for deliveries
• Follow store security procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in goods inwards, or warehouse operations is preferred
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills
• HACCP knowledge is desirable
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
