Noel Group are delighted to be recruiting for a General Manager for our client in Tralee, Co.Kerry. We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead all aspects of hotel operations. This role requires a proactive, guest-focused professional capable of ensuring exceptional service, driving revenue, and maintaining operational excellence. Our client is a 3-star hotel with under 70 bedrooms.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring seamless coordination.
• Monitor and optimize room occupancy, pricing strategies, and profitability.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by addressing feedback and maintaining high standards.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a cohesive team, promoting collaboration and professional development.
• Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and operational strategies to achieve targets.
• Analyze financial performance and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Lead sales and marketing initiatives to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and key partners.
• Ensure property maintenance and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of team development and collaboration.
• Solid financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and forecasting.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and guest service principles.
• Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) advantageous.
