We are proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an experienced and motivated Front Office Supervisor to join their exceptional team in Kilkenny.
As Front Office Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel’s front desk operations. You will assist in leading the front office team, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and upholding the highest standards of customer service. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality and a drive to grow into a management position.
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded 4-star hotel located in the heart of Kilkenny. Known for its warm hospitality, excellent facilities, and strong team culture, the hotel is part of a larger hotel group that promotes internal progression and continuous development.
The Duties:

Supervise daily front desk operations to ensure smooth and professional service.

Support and guide front office staff, ensuring team members are well-trained and motivated.

Handle guest check-ins/outs efficiently and professionally.

Manage guest queries, feedback, and complaints with a solution-focused approach.

Ensure accurate booking, billing, and cashiering procedures.

Liaise with housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Assist in scheduling and shift planning for front office staff.

Uphold company standards and ensure compliance with all procedures and policies.
The Requirements:

Previous experience in a front office or reception supervisory role within a hotel environment.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Proficiency in hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera or similar) is a strong advantage.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and guest care.

Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
