We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and driven Floating Site Manager to join a growing retail group with multiple locations across North Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-focused individual who thrives in a dynamic retail environment and is open to working across various store locations.
Role Overview:
As a Floating Site Manager, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of retail sites, ensuring exceptional customer service, high operational standards, and achieving key business targets. You’ll play a crucial leadership role, motivating teams and delivering results across sales, hygiene, compliance, and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Compliance:

Oversee efficient site operations, ensuring company standards in customer service, presentation, and cleanliness are consistently upheld.

Achieve store KPIs including sales, gross/net margins, and wastage control.

Implement and monitor compliance with HACCP and relevant legislation.

Daily cash reconciliation, lodgements, and back-office functions including stock data and reporting.

Coordinate contractor callouts, handle system breakdowns, and manage security incidents.
Team Management:

Lead by example and foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented workplace.

Conduct staff training, coaching, performance reviews, and manage rosters and leave planning.

Promote open communication between staff and management.
Stock & Merchandising:

Maintain full control over stock range and management processes.

Ensure correct implementation of planograms and effective merchandising to maximise performance.

Conduct regular stocktakes and manage overheads within budget.
Customer Service:

Maintain a strong customer-first approach and ensure service excellence at all times.

Handle customer queries and complaints efficiently, escalating when necessary.
Health & Safety:

Take ownership of site safety in accordance with legislation and best practice.

Promote a culture of safe working practices for all staff, visitors, and contractors.
Candidate Profile:
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a retail management role (e.g., Assistant Manager, Site Manager).

Proven leadership skills with a hands-on approach.

Strong business acumen and ability to analyse and act on performance reports.

Excellent communication, delegation, and organisational abilities.
-
Results-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Full driving licence and access to own transport (role involves travel across sites).
