The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the luxury hospitality industry to recruit an experienced and dynamic Event Manager for a stunning venue located in Portarlington, Co. Laois.
As Event Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of events across the venue. This includes weddings, private functions, corporate events, and seasonal celebrations. You will ensure each event is delivered to the highest standard, exceeding guest expectations while upholding the venue’s reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate is highly organised, customer-focused, and passionate about delivering memorable experiences.

The Duties:

Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of events from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up.

Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure all details are executed flawlessly.

Liaise with internal departments including kitchen, front of house, and operations teams to ensure smooth event delivery.

Manage event budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

Conduct site visits and client meetings as required.

Supervise and support event staff during setup, execution, and breakdown of events.

Ensure all health, safety, and compliance standards are met.

Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
The Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Event Management role within a hotel or event venue.

Proven track record of delivering successful events across different formats and sizes.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.

Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
