Noel Group is currently seeking a skilled electrician to join our clients team in Swords. The successful electrician will provide maintenance, service, repair, and installation solutions for a variety of building services, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance. Reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Service and repair electrical, mechanical, and nontechnical equipment, resolving faults promptly.
• Respond to technical and non-technical queries in a timely manner, liaising with the Help Desk and Technical Services Manager.
• Assist in the installation of new plant and equipment.
• Keep the Help Desk and Technical Manager informed of equipment issues and progress.
• Utilize client CMMS/CAFM systems to log and manage work, ensuring tasks are completed within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations and current electrical standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to internal “Best Practice” standards.
• Contribute to the generation of reports by providing relevant technical information.
• Carry out PPMs and adhere to EH&S procedures at all times.

Key Requirements:

• Electrical Senior Trades qualification or diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in utilities, facilities, or similar environments.
• Proven track record in preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Formal training or certification in related disciplines is an advantage.
• Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Methodical and detail-oriented approach with a commitment to high standards.
• Flexibility to respond to emergency calls outside of standard hours when necessary.
• Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility as an occasional OOH call if it is an emergency).
