We are proud to partner with a prestigious 4-star hotel in Kilkenny to search for an experienced and enthusiastic Duty Manager to join their management team.
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring excellent guest service, smooth departmental coordination, and maintaining high standards across all areas. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role ideal for a passionate hospitality professional looking to develop their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

The Duties:
- Manage daily hotel operations and act as the point of contact for guests and staff.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
- Support department heads in achieving operational excellence across front office, F&B, and housekeeping.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure swift resolution.
- Monitor and maintain health & safety, hygiene, and security standards.
- Prepare and hand over Duty Manager reports to senior management.
- Lead and motivate team members to ensure a productive and positive work environment.
The Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager or supervisory role within a hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest services.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in hotel PMS systems is an advantage.
- Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
- Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
The Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: €35,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience)
