The Noel Group is a leading recruitment agency that operates nationwide, offering high-quality recruitment services across various sectors. We are currently recruiting on behalf of a renowned 4* hotel in Kilkenny, seeking a motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join their team.
As a Hotel Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and that all departments operate smoothly. You will support the General Manager in ensuring the hotel delivers on its reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.
Our client is a highly-regarded 4* hotel located in the heart of Kilkenny, known for its outstanding customer service, luxurious accommodations, and excellent dining and event facilities. The hotel caters to both leisure and business travellers, with a strong focus on providing memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth running of daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage services.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by addressing guest queries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Supervise and support staff in delivering excellent service, while maintaining standards across all departments.
- Act as the main point of contact for guests during your shift, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally.
- Handle guest complaints and operational issues promptly, ensuring that they are resolved to the guests’ satisfaction.
- Assist in managing hotel budgets and ensure operational costs are controlled.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as hotel policies and procedures.
- Report directly to the General Manager and support them in implementing operational improvements and service enhancements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a 4* hotel or equivalent hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Living in Ireland with the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
