Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Deli Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Deli Manager based in North Dublin. In this role, the successful candidate will support store management and the Fresh Food Operations Manager in implementing the fresh food strategy across multiple locations.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Fresh Food Manager in the day-to-day management and operations of various stores within the group.

  • Provide effective support to the deli teams, working closely with colleagues to deliver an exceptional standard of service.

  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and Health and Safety regulations across all fresh food departments.

  • Manage stock control and waste management processes efficiently.

  • Train, develop, and coach colleagues to meet the required standards in the fresh food departments.

  • Ensure adherence to all industry-related legislation.

  • Provide support in deli operations as needed by the business.

Food Safety:

  • Implement, maintain, and monitor food safety management systems across all fresh food departments.

  • Ensure that HACCP and food safety audits are conducted in line with targets and required standards.

  • Liaise with external Food Safety Auditors as needed to ensure compliance with the Food Safety Act.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous management experience in a fresh food department is essential.

  • Strong understanding of store financial reports, including sales reports, KPIs, traceability, and records.

  • Ability to work independently and contribute positively to team performance.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement in standards and delivering excellent customer experiences in a busy environment.

  • Full flexibility in availability is required, as the role supports multiple sites with varying trading hours.
