Noel Group is currently seeking applicants for a Deli Manager role in one of our client locations in Clonakilty. The primary tasks of the role will be to provide great customer service, operate in a team-oriented atmosphere, and manage the daily operations and overall service of the hot counter while maintaining a strong customer care approach.
Responsibilities:
- Support the manager with numerous administrative tasks to ensure the store’s optimum performance.
- Inspect food quality and ensure that display and presentation are at the highest standards.
- Follow food handling and health and safety regulations.
- Manage deli staff (5ppl) and provide on-the-job training to ensure high-quality customer service.
- Supervise food orders and maintain stock inventory.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
- Ensure that the store is operating in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous deli or fresh food experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
- Deep knowledge of food safety and HACCP requirements.
- Experience working in a team-based atmosphere with a natural passion for fresh food cooking and preparation.
- Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a part of the team and on your own initiative.
- Well presented with a professional, polite and friendly manner.
