We are seeking a Conference & Banqueting Manager, a hands-on role with the successful applicant required to be on the floor managing the events from beginning to end.

What are we looking for:

  • An experienced individual who has a proven track record in managing large events in a busy conference centre or hotel that caters to large weddings and conferences
  • An excellent people manager who is capable of managing a large team to ensure sufficient preparation and service
  • A team player who is always willing to assist with functions but also in other areas of the hotel as required
  • A person who is highly motivated and is driven by a passion for providing excellent customer service

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and have positive attitude
  • Passionate about hospitality and excellent service
  • Must be available Monday-Sunday
  • Flexible with hours to include a range of shifts including weekends depending on business demands
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, time management and organisational skills
