Our client a leading contract catering company specializing in providing exceptional culinary experiences to a diverse range of clients. Company’s devotion to quality, innovation, and client happiness distinguishes them in the industry. Company is continuing to expand their operations, and they are seeking a professional and experienced Chef Manager to join the team.

We’re seeking for an experienced and dedicated Chef Manager to oversee culinary operations and lead skilled kitchen team. As Chef Manager, you will be responsible for menu development, food preparation, staff management, and ensuring that our clients receive great food quality and service. This is a full-time position that offers opportunity for professional development and promotion within the company.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the kitchen staff and ensure that food preparation and presentation is to the higher standards
  • Develop innovative menus that meet dietary needs of clients and customers.
  • Work closely with operations manager to ensure that budgeted gross and net profits are achieved with a minimum food waste
  • Follow Food Safety & Hygiene regulations and maintain clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Conduct regular quality checks on food items to ensure consistency, flavour, and presentation meet company standards.
  • Carry out relevant training to the kitchen staff and ensure that training records are maintained
  • Manage kitchen operations including inventory control, ordering supplies and maintaining kitchen equipment
  • Collaborate with management and ensure overall business objectives are followed
  • Promote good work place environment with your clients, customers and staff

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef Manager or Executive Chef in a contract catering or hospitality setting
  • Third level qualification, preferably a culinary degree
  • Full driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with ability to motivate
  • Excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene and Safety regulations
  • Flexible and able to work on own initiative
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills in a fast pace environment
