About the Role:
We are currently recruiting an experienced and adaptable Chef for temporary position in Douglas Co. Cork. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is passionate about food, and thrives in busy kitchen environments.
Flexibility, experience and the ability to quickly adapt to new kitchens and teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with menu and client specifications.
- Maintain consistency and quality across different kitchens and service styles.
- Ensure food is prepared in line with HACCP standards and all health and safety regulations.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of various kitchen teams.
- Keep kitchen areas clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
- Assist with stock management and menu support as needed at each site.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef in high-volume or fast-paced kitchens.
- Strong culinary skills and the ability to hit the ground running in new environments.
- Flexibility to work various shifts – early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude.
Requirements:
- Full-time availability with flexible working hours.
- Must have the legal right to work in Ireland.
- Manual Handling and Food Safety Level 2 certification – training can be provided if needed.
