Chef De Partie – Gastropub – Galway
Salary: €35,000 per annum
Location: Galway, Ireland

The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a talented and passionate Chef De Partie to join a vibrant and busy gastropub in Galway.

As Chef De Partie, you will play a key role in a fast-paced kitchen team, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes to a consistently high standard. You will be responsible for managing your designated section, ensuring food preparation, presentation, and hygiene are always of the highest level.

Our client is a well-established and award-winning gastropub in Galway, known for its fresh local ingredients, warm atmosphere, and exceptional food. Part of a reputable and growing hospitality group, this location offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a professional kitchen environment.

Key Duties:

  • Prepare and present dishes within your section according to the menu and quality standards.

  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with HACCP.

  • Assist with the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff.

  • Support stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver smooth service during busy periods.

  • Contribute to menu development with fresh, seasonal ideas.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef De Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to step up.

  • Passion for high-quality food and attention to detail.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team under pressure.

  • Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.

  • Visa or relocation packages are not provided.
