Noel Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic catering manager to oversee operations and ensure the highest standards of service. Our client is one of the leading contract catering companies, renowned for delivering exceptional food service across a variety of sectors.

As a catering manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of 2 onsite canteen services, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality food service, and excellent customer satisfaction. You will lead a dedicated team and work closely with clients to deliver tailored catering solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily catering operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Implement and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
• Recruit, train, and manage catering staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.
• Schedule staff shifts and manage labour costs effectively.
• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a catering manager or in a similar role within the food service industry managing a large team.
• Strong background in people management, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent understanding of food service operations and quality standards.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
