Job Vacancy: Business Development Manager

Location: Ireland / Hybrid
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: €50K+
Position: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Planning: Collaborate with operational business units to identify high-potential opportunities for tailored solutions, developing strategies to engage clients across various branches.
  • Commercial Action Plans: Contribute to the development of Commercial Action Plans by identifying target clients for proactive solution sales among prospects and existing clients.
  • Client Acquisition: Formulate and execute a strategy to acquire new customers, aligning with both Irish and European market initiatives.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct commercial client visits, providing solution demonstrations and fostering strong relationships.
  • Site Risk Analysis: Perform site risk assessments to better understand clients’ risk profiles and identify their underlying needs.
  • Integrated Solutions: Collaborate with operational business units and the commercial department to cross-sell and up-sell protective services to medium to large clients, integrating relevant technologies into comprehensive solutions.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor Branch Managers and Sales Teams in solution sales processes and the effective use of tools and resources.
  • Solution Impact Evaluation: Assess the potential impact of proposed solutions on clients’ processes and prepare comprehensive transition plans.
  • Implementation Coordination: Ensure a smooth handover to the delivery team, staying involved throughout the implementation phase to guarantee client satisfaction.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as required to support the overall objectives of the business.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Technology Background: Experience in technical sales with a solid understanding of technology solutions.
  • Business Acumen: Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business strategies and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and teams.
  • Negotiation Expertise: Proven ability to negotiate and close deals successfully.
  • Results-Oriented: A focus on delivering results and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Relationship Building: Skilled at developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and external partners.
  • External Partner Management: Demonstrated experience managing and nurturing external partnerships.
  • Eligibility to Work in Ireland: Must have the right to work in Ireland.
  • Checkable Employment History: A minimum of five years of verifiable employment history.
  • Core Values Alignment: Must embody the core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness in all professional dealings.
