Our client is a distinguished 4-star hotel that offers a unique blend of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service. The main bar is a vibrant and integral part of the guest experience, offering a diverse selection of beverages, creative cocktails, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking a talented and experienced bar manager to lead the bar team and ensure the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.

As the bar manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operations, including staff management, inventory control, customer service, and financial performance. You will bring your passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and creativity to elevate the bar experience and ensure it aligns with the overall vision of the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service, high-quality beverage offerings, and a clean, inviting environment.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of bartenders and bar staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring staff adhere to hotel standards.
  • Ensure all guests receive outstanding service, creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the hotel’s culinary team to develop and update the bar menu, including signature cocktails, seasonal offerings, and beverage pairings.
  • Monitor and manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies, controlling stock levels, and minimizing waste.
  • Manage the bar’s budget, track sales and expenses, and implement strategies to increase profitability while maintaining high service standards.
  • Work with the hotel’s events team to plan and execute bar services for special events, private functions, and promotions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on bar performance, including sales, customer feedback, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bar manager, preferably in a 4-star hotel or upscale bar environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of beverage trends, mixology, and bar management best practices.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality management, beverage services, or a related field are an advantage.
