Role: Site Manager

Location: Westport, Ireland

Client is a leading Irish Main Contractor with over 120 year’s active presence in the industry.

Education & Skills

• Excellent organisation & time management skills
• Proven track record of working to strict timescales
• Excellent client facing skills
• Thorough knowledge of building practices
• Experience of internal finishes and M&E is desirable (Fitout and Finishes in hotels and residential projects)
• Experience of managing large scale projects would be an advantage

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis
• Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and track progress
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors
• Carry out safety checks /Audits
• Keep in close contact with members of the site team at all times
• Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and planners
• Ensure that work complies with building regulations as well as other legal requirements
• Ensure Quality standards are maintained at all times.

As a Site Manager you will have 8+years solid site experience within the construction and building industry, preferably for a Main Contractor. The successful candidate will have experience of working on high quality medium to large scale projects in various sectors Industrial, Health, Pharma, Commercial & Education
