Sous Chef – Dublin City Centre
Salary: €45,000 to €50,000 DOE
Location: Dublin City Centre
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join their culinary team in the heart of Dublin City Centre.
As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in the daily operation of a busy, high-end kitchen. You will lead and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff to consistently deliver exceptional culinary experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation. You will play a key role in menu development, team training, and kitchen management.

The Dublin City Centre location is renowned for its vibrant dining offerings, innovative menus, and dynamic team culture. The successful candidate will be joining an award-winning kitchen with a reputation for creativity, quality, and consistency.
The Duties:

Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations.

Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Ensure consistent food quality and presentation to a high standard.

Monitor and enforce health and safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.

Contribute to menu planning and recipe development.

Manage stock levels, ordering, and kitchen cost control.

Support team scheduling and training initiatives.

Maintain a positive, professional, and motivating work environment.
The Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a 4* or 5* hotel or high-volume restaurant.

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Passion for food, innovation, and delivering a best-in-class guest experience.

Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.

Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Culinary qualifications required.

Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
