About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Evening Chef to oversee the preparation and service of meals at a large facility near Kisnale. This is a solo-working role ideal for someone who thrives independently and takes pride in maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, with dinner service taking place between 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM. The remainder of the shift is dedicated to food preparation and maintaining a clean, well-organised kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals for evening service

Manage kitchen operations during the shift, including food prep and cleaning

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Maintain accurate records as required (e.g. temperature checks, wastage)

Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or maintenance needs

Work collaboratively with daytime staff for smooth handover and continuity
Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices

Good communication skills and a proactive attitude

Relevant catering qualifications or food hygiene certificates (Level 2 minimum preferred)

Flexibility and reliability to work the stated shift pattern consistently
