The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the Contract Catering industry to recruit a dynamic and driven Deputy General Manager for a hands-on leadership role based in Cork.
As Deputy General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of a high-volume catering service. This is a hands-on role suited to a strong leader with operational expertise, stakeholder management skills, and a proactive approach to delivering exceptional service standards. You will support the General Manager in all aspects of running the site, from financial oversight to people management, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

The Duties:

Provide operational expertise while leading a high-performing team.

Manage client and stakeholder relationships to ensure service excellence.

Oversee daily operations, identify improvement opportunities, and implement strategic initiatives.

Develop and mentor department managers and staff to meet company objectives.

Partner with Finance to manage budgets and drive financial performance.

Ensure all health & safety, legislative and company compliance is met.

Deliver high-end hospitality and event services in line with brand standards.

Implement service innovations and growth strategies aligned with client goals.
The Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of Food & Beverage management experience in a high-volume environment.

Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets and financial analysis.

Proven leadership in managing through other managers and large teams.

Experience in high-end hospitality and event service delivery.

Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.

Ability to influence, lead from the front, and foster a positive team culture.

Strong understanding of legislative compliance in a catering or hospitality setting.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Additional Requirements:

Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.

The Salary & Benefits:

Salary: €65,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience).
