Head of Fleet

Job description

We are working with an international engineering client, who are looking to hire a Senior Fleet Manager who will be responsible for overseeing fleet management controls.

The role will require someone with 5+ years fleet management experience, managing large fleets.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and compliance for a large fleet, including safety and maintenance.
• Deliver regular fleet performance, financial, energy, and compliance reports to internal stakeholders.
• Manage fleet budgeting, cost control, procurement, vendor relations, and invoice processing.
• Drive improvements through fleet policy implementation, KPI initiatives, and support for client and internal compliance needs.
• Lead fleet-related projects, risk escalation, driver training, and team management activities as required.

Minimum requirements:

• Must have Transport Manager CPC
• 5 years+ experience
• 3+ years at management level
• Experience with HGV’s and trailers
