The Noel Group is a leading recruitment agency operating nationwide across the Hospitality sector. We are proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality & Contract catering industry in the search for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary team at a charming and reputable property in Wicklow.

As Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and team performance. You will develop seasonal menus, manage food costs, and drive creativity while maintaining consistency in a high-paced environment. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Our client is a well-established, high-end hospitality & Contract Catering venue known for exceptional food and service, with a strong emphasis on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a commitment to culinary excellence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day kitchen operations

• Design and implement creative and seasonal menus

• Oversee food preparation, portion control, and presentation

• Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards

• Train, motivate, and manage a team of kitchen staff

• Monitor and control kitchen budgets, food cost, and waste

• Work closely with the FOH and Events teams to ensure a seamless guest experience

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a similar environment

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Passion for high-quality food and creative menu development

• Excellent knowledge of HACCP, food safety and kitchen hygiene

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings as per the rota

• Must be currently living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland

• Visa sponsorship or relocation packages are not provided

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: €50,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
