We are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious hotel client in Dublin City Centre to recruit a professional and experienced Duty Manager to join their management team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Duty Manager with a passion for exceptional guest service and smooth operational delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing daily hotel operations, with a strong focus on event and banqueting coordination. You will act as a key point of contact for guests and ensure the highest service standards across all departments, especially during functions, conferences, and banquets.

Our client is a well-established 4-star hotel located in the heart of Dublin City Centre, renowned for its excellent customer service, vibrant event offering, and strong reputation in the corporate and leisure markets. The hotel is part of a reputable luxury hotel group with a strong emphasis on team development, guest satisfaction, and internal promotion opportunities.

The Duties:

  • Support the day-to-day running of hotel operations across all departments.

  • Take full responsibility for the hotel in the absence of senior management.

  • Lead and support the coordination and delivery of all events, functions, and banqueting services.

  • Be the main point of contact for guests, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly.

  • Supervise and motivate team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

  • Monitor health & safety, fire safety, and hygiene standards across all operational areas.

  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and urgency.

  • Ensure the smooth opening and closing of shifts, including daily reporting and handovers

The Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or duty management role in a 4* hotel or similar hospitality setting.

  • Strong operational knowledge, particularly in events, banqueting, and front-of-house services.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland (ROI).

  • Visa and relocation packages are not provided.

The Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: €40,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience)
