The Noel Group is a leading recruitment agency operating nationwide across the hospitality sector. We are proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a talented Business Development Manager to join their team in Midelton.
We are looking for a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join the Sales and Marketing Team. The successful candidate will be passionate about building relationships, delivering on targets and pushing the hotel to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to increase hotel revenue and market share
- Support the General Manager and Group Commercial Manager in achieving budgeted sales
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, and event sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and agencies
- Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions
- Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Operations teams to ensure a consistent product, consistent sales strategy, align goals and drive performance;
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing and positioning strategies
- Work closely with marketing and operations teams to deliver aligned campaigns and promotions
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management
- Maximise revenue through upselling opportunities and creative packages
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales or business development role within the hospitality sector
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Be results/targets driven, and client focused
- Be self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working on their own initiative
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and revenue management principles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a proactive approach
- Full driving licence and own means of transport
- Knowledge of the Cork/East Cork market is a distinct advantage
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
