The Noel Group is a leading recruitment agency operating nationwide across the hospitality sector. We are proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a talented Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join their team in Killiney.

As a Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a key role, being accountable for Customer Care and Service in all Food & Beverage service areas throughout the Hotel, working with the team to ensure that all sales opportunities are maximised; employees developed in a structured manner; and the customers are offered the highest quality standards and value for money.

Duties:

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations of all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banqueting.
  • Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor food and beverage stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for efficient inventory management.
  • To train, manage and motivate team leaders and staff and ensure they are constantly developed and challenged
  • To be responsible for customer care in all food and beverage areas, dealing with all customer complaints/comments with appropriate follow up/investigation and passing on relevant information to Food & Beverage Manager
  • To enforce and comply with Rules of Operation for the hotel clock-in system, ensuring rosters and costings are accurate and all changes/anomaliesare amended as soon as is practicable
  • Assist in menu planning, pricing, and special promotions in collaboration with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP and food safety laws in Ireland).
  • To develop good relations with beverage companies and representatives and order stock supplies when necessary

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in food & beverage management, preferably in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment.
  • Proven experience in managing restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service.
  • Strong background in staff supervision, training, and leadership.
  • Problem-solving & conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and operational challenges.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, MICROS, or similar POS systems).

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Visa and relocation packages are not provided for this role.
