The Noel Group is a leading recruitment agency operating nationwide across the hospitality sector. We are proud to partner with a prestigious and well-established client in the luxury hospitality industry to search for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Athlone.

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional service delivery, smooth departmental coordination, and achieving operational targets. The successful candidate will be highly organised, guest-focused, and have a strong understanding of hotel operations, including F&B, front office, housekeeping, and maintenance.

Our client is a leading 4-star hotel located in Athlone, part of a reputable and expanding luxury hotel group. Known for its outstanding guest service, award-winning dining, and excellent facilities, this hotel is committed to delivering memorable experiences to every guest.

The Duties:

• Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring high standards are met across all departments.

• Lead and support departmental managers, promoting a culture of collaboration and accountability.

• Monitor financial performance, control costs, and drive revenue growth.

• Ensure health and safety, hygiene, and quality standards are adhered to at all times.

• Support HR functions including recruitment, training, and staff development.

• Manage guest feedback and implement strategies to improve service and satisfaction.

• Report directly to the General Manager and act as Deputy in their absence.

The Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in a senior operations or departmental management role within a hotel environment.

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage budgets, drive efficiencies, and lead high-performing teams.

• Knowledge of hotel systems and operations (F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping).

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on, proactive approach.

• Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Must be currently living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.

• Visa and relocation packages are not provided.

The Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: €45,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience)
