Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of electrical technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.

• Servicing of electrical, mechanical and non-technical equipment & carry out fault resolution and repairs to broken down equipment
• Liaise with the help desk/Technical Manager and respond to all non-technical and technical queries in a timely manner to ensure conformance with the relevant Service Level Agreement. 
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to prevent electrical hazards.
• Assist in energy efficiency initiatives to optimize power usage within the facility.
• Train and mentor junior electrical technicians.

Key Requirements

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control circuits. Proficiency with tools and equipment for electrical diagnostics and repair.
• Methodical, analytical and enthusiastic approach to work with good attention to detail 

• Electrical Senior Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline  
• Experience in the following areas – Utilities / Facilities 

• Strong verbal and written communication to interact with team members, vendors, and management.
• Flexibility as occasional OOH call if it is an emergency
