• Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations as per local guidelines.

• Deliver exceptional customer service by handling inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.

• Develop strategies to boost deli sales and maximise profitability.

• Train staff on food handling, health and safety regulations, and customer service techniques.

• Organize work schedules and assign daily responsibilities to optimize productivity.

• Conduct routine quality checks to uphold product freshness and compliance with company standards.

• Keep the deli department clean, well-organised, and well-stocked.

• Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock and product availability.

• Proven background as a Deli Manager, or in a similar role within the retail or food service sector.

• Strong leadership and staff management abilities.

• Thorough knowledge of food safety guidelines and HACCP standards.

• Ability to perform efficiently in a high-energy environment.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Competency in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
