As the Hotel Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring high standards of customer service, and managing both staff and guest satisfaction. You will act as a key point of contact, addressing any operational issues and ensuring the hotel runs smoothly during your shifts.
Our client is a well-established hotel located in Tuam, known for its welcoming atmosphere, excellent customer service, and modern amenities. The hotel caters to a range of guests, from business travelers to leisure visitors, offering an all-around memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments run smoothly.
- Provide leadership and support to staff, assisting with problem-solving and decision-making.
- Manage guest relations, addressing complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and service.
- Coordinate with other departments such as housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, conducting regular checks.
- Assist with scheduling, staff management, and reporting to senior management.
- Be on hand to deal with emergencies, operational issues, and unexpected situations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality management role, preferably as a Duty Manager or similar position.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong customer service focus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Living in Ireland with the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
- Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
