Bar Manager

Noel Group is looking for a new Bar Manager in Wexford. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall management and smooth operation of the bar within the hotel. This includes creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, leading the bar team, and ensuring the financial success of the establishment.

Our client is a 3-star hotel located in Wexford. With 26 rooms, they are known for their exceptional hospitality and are seeking a customer-oriented individual who shares their commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff and support team members.
• Create shift schedules, set performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and handle any disciplinary matters.
• Ensure excellent customer service by promoting friendly and efficient interactions.
• Address customer complaints professionally and encourage staff to provide memorable experiences.
• Manage stock levels, place orders, and collaborate with the Store Manager to negotiate with suppliers. Control costs through effective inventory management.
• Maintain the cleanliness and setup of the bar area, develop standard operating procedures, and ensure compliance with safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Assist with food service as required.
• Distribute guest room keys to those checking in from the bar area.
• Create and manage budgets, track sales, and adjust strategies to meet financial targets.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Work closely with the marketing team to plan events, promotions, and track industry trends.
• Manage band bookings.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain necessary licenses for alcohol service.
• Continuously train staff on customer service, product knowledge, and safety protocols.
• Uphold high standards for food and drink quality, cleanliness, and presentation.

Qualifications:

• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Experience in food service is a plus but not essential.

Salary:

• €45,000
