Noel Group are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Receptionist to join our esteemed hotel client’s front office team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.

Our client is a small but spectacular hotel, located in Clare. With approximately 20 bedrooms, renowned for luxury. The team values a collaborative and inclusive work environment where every member contributes to the magic of this iconic getaway.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and Assist Guests: Provide a warm and courteous welcome to guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and at ease.
  • Handle Check-ins and Check-outs: Efficiently manage the registration process and ensure a smooth departure experience for all guests.
  • Answer Inquiries: Address guest questions, concerns, and requests in person, by phone, and via email, delivering prompt and accurate information.
  • Manage Reservations: Process bookings and update hotel management systems with current reservation details.
  • Coordinate with Staff: Work closely with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to meet guest needs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain Front Desk Operations: Ensure the reception area remains organized, professional, and equipped with all necessary materials.
  • Handle Payments: Process cash and card transactions securely and efficiently, ensuring accurate billing.
  • Uphold Policies: Enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for guests and staff alike.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in a similar front desk role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in hotel management software and basic Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest concerns professionally.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
